Luke Krone Events

Luke Krone appointed Janet to implement his concept borne of both his Dutch heritage and that of his special client and groom.

The vision was to create a wedding halo made up of Delft plates representing their love story_to create a feeling of floating plates to frame the couple when exchanging their significant marriage vows.

Each of the 120 plates was decorated with delft paintings to symbolise their love story. This included the venue of their reception and other places of significance in their respective families, passions and relationship.

It included the construction of a steel frame, the design of the mechanism to attach the collection of plates, half of which was generously gifted to the couple’s guests and the remainder returned to their home as a dinner service set.
